Day 7

Today I created a blog for my classroom. I was able to put websites where my students can look up information about their explorer projects. I also work on filling out my unit plan. I have learned a lot from this class.

Day 6

Today we discussed how we can help our gifted, ESL, and resource students in our projects. I created a student sample resource to support student learning. I continued to work on my Unit Plan.

Day 5

I assess student learning pre, during, and after unit. I use K_W_L charts, checklists, and rubrics. I give students checklists to guide their work. I have students self assess their project.

Day 4

On day four we discussed safety when using the internet. We also worked on a student sample that we will share with our students.

Day 3 of Intel

Information overload? No, but I am learning alot of new information. Today we discussed copyright questions. 10 seems to be the magic number with copyright. Collaboration was also discussed and we work on a Wiki as an example of how to collaborate. Online resources were also addressed. There is a ton of resources that teachers could use. This class has been very informational.
